What I have built a lot of questions on my computer for online trading. First of all the computer hardware has little to do with success (ie profitability) of the trading day on-line to do.
I am always amazed at all the monitors multiple online retailers to connect their computer systems. I am also surprised at the amount of CPU and other goodies that are integrated into the system.
There are several companies that meet this niche market computerbecause they know that when people start online trading for the first time, go on a spending spree, and spends a lot of money to have a system "because it was for online trading."
Top players tend to buy the latest technology at points of high prices, and the excuse that they need to use a profit. Which brings me to a point that you should write to read before buying any computer system for your business trading online.
Point number one:
Is not the computer equipment orThe installer is the traders who make money trading online.
Now with the middle one, let me say a few points. Connection to the Internet must be with a reputable company. If you spend money, this is the right place. Unless you are working on their services online or brokerage accounts are linked, you can not trade.
So why do not you need the latest and greatest technology, it is not possible, even the oldest and worst of 1995 still on computers running Windows95.
A good method is to check with your graphics and data feeds, and even high-your-high-speed Internet provider and see what the recommended minimum requirements and make sure that they are above them.
We start on all the elements that need us. This is a list very simple, so as not to overwhelm you.
1) a reliable connection to the Internet at high speed. (DSL, cable, satellite),
2) a computer on the minimum requirements, as the graph / data feed companies. (I like itAt least 4 GB and 6 GB of memory on board, because I have many windows open simultaneously)
3) A monitor that is at least 19 inchs. The bigger the better. I do not buy more monitors to believe, as I keep my trading plan is simply to try multiple monitors tend to provide information, paralysis, since there is no such thing as too much information. Multi-display also has a considerable cost to your system for every need and the top end or more graphics cards to buy
4) A UPS(Uninterruptible Power Supply) This is your desktop computer, monitor, maintain, responsible for the modem if you lose power in your office. Believe me, you do not want to put up a business online and then not be able to manage because you have no power.
Costco has all these elements (except for connecting to the Internet) a very good price. They also have a return policy of 90 days and a concierge service, which is the reason to buy systems from them.
Just an FYI, I went to Costco andconfigured an HP desktop. I have the same configuration and went to a computer company, focusing on trade of computers for online merchants with multiple monitors and cool "," trade name of the computer. Guess What? For the same data, Costco was $ 747.67 less. Just some food for thought. (I am not with Costco in any way connected with the exception of possession of a membership card. This example has been used to prove a point)
